Kazakhstan will increase oil exports to Germany in 2026 to 130,000 tons per month, according to a statement from the press service of the national company KazMunayGas (KMG).

The decision was made during talks between KMG Chairman Askhat Khasenov and Johannes Bremer, CEO of Rosneft Deutschland GmbH.

“As a result of the meeting, the current agreement for the supply of Kazakh oil to Germany was extended until the end of 2026 (from the resources of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.). The agreement provides for an increase in monthly deliveries from 100,000 to 130,000 tons,” the statement said.

As TASS reminds, Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of Russia’s Rosneft, was placed under the management of Germany’s Federal Network Agency in 2022. Kazakhstan’s national pipeline operator KazTransOil ensures the transit of oil across Russian territory through the Transneft pipeline system. From there, Kazakh oil is pumped through Belarus via Gomeltransneft Druzhba to the Adamova Zastava delivery point, for further supply to the refinery in Schwedt, Germany.

In the first nine months of 2025, approximately 1.5 million tons of Kazakh oil were delivered to the Schwedt refinery—the same volume as for the entire previous year.
