The State Security Service (SSS) of Uzbekistan has launched a call center for the prompt reception of appeals from citizens and organizations on issues within the agency's competence. Calls can be made via the short number 1520.
The Call Center accepts reports of encroachments on the constitutional order, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, threats to the state border, security in the Armed Forces and the defense-industrial complex. It is also possible to report facts of terrorism, extremism, activities of organized criminal groups, illegal trafficking of weapons, drugs and psychotropic substances, corruption, economic crimes, and incitement of interethnic or religious hatred.
In addition, the Call Center accepts appeals on criminal cases under the following articles of the Criminal Code:
👉 150–163 (crimes against peace and human security, as well as against the Republic of Uzbekistan);
👉 182 («Violation of customs legislation»);
👉 223 («Illegal departure from or illegal entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan»);
👉 246 («Smuggling»).
The agency guarantees full confidentiality of the reports and urges citizens not to remain indifferent to legal violations. At the same time, it reminds that submitting false, slanderous, or offensive statements is subject to liability.
