Oleg Baklov, goalkeeper for the Tajikistan national football team, has filed an official complaint against FC Ufa with the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Russian Football Union, according to journalist Sergei Ilyev.

The specific nature of Baklov’s grievance has not been disclosed. However, Ilyev reports that the situation escalated after Baklov allegedly walked off during a training match following a conceded goal. As a result, the club placed him on the transfer list. First League side Chelyabinsk expressed interest in signing him, and Ufa was reportedly willing to let him go for free—but Baklov demanded six months’ salary as compensation for terminating his contract.

What the journalist fails to mention is that the situation began earlier. According to Fergana’s sources, Baklov’s contract with Ufa expired this summer. The club offered him an extension, assuring him he would remain their first-choice goalkeeper. He accepted the offer, turning down other opportunities, including those from abroad. But just days later, Ufa unexpectedly signed club legend and former Russian national team keeper Aleksandr Belenov, who was immediately given the starting spot. Baklov interpreted this move as a breach of their agreement.

Oleg Baklov was born in the city of Taboshar in Tajikistan’s Sughd Region and moved to Russia with his family at a young age. A product of the Syzran football school, he began his professional career with FC Syzran-2003. In 2018, he joined FC Ural Yekaterinburg, though he never secured a starting role and played mostly for Ural-2. He spent the 2021–22 season on loan with FC KAMAZ in Naberezhnye Chelny. In 2023, he signed with Ufa and helped the club gain promotion. Baklov has earned six caps for the Tajikistan national team.
